The Gobioff Foundation completed the fourth cycle of the Treasure Tampa (T²) grant earlier this year just as the pandemic was beginning to take hold. We’ve made the difficult decision to not open up Treasure Tampa for applications this year. This was not an easy decision. Treasure Tampa is very important to us but with the uncertainty of the pandemic we felt it would be too difficult for panelists to accurately assess applications for projects that would be after May 1, 2021. We hope to open the process again next year for a fifth cycle.
We apologize to anyone who was hoping to put in an application this year. If you have an idea for a project you were hoping to submit for Treasure Tampa we encourage you to reach out to us directly with the pitch. Just because Treasure Tampa isn’t happening, it doesn’t mean that we won’t continue to support creative placemaking projects!
