Treasure Tampa Application

Many people are involved in the process and implementation of Treasure Tampa. A panel of business, community, and arts leaders review applications in a two phase process:

Phase 1 – Letters of Interest (LOI); and

Phase 2 – Proposals

Facilitated by the Gobioff Foundation, this panel works together to ensure that the process is fair and equitable. The panelists use rating instruments created by the Gobioff Foundation at both phases of the review process. During the decision making process averages of these ratings are used to inform the panel discussion.

Disqualifying Omissions

Any omission of a required component of the application may be grounds for disqualifying an application. If an application is not complete or does not meet eligibility requirements, it will not be taken to the review panel.

Reporting Requirement

If your application is funded, Treasure Tampa recipients will be required to fill out a short evaluation form and account for how funds were spent.

Phase 1 – Letter of Interest

To get started, Project Applicants will need to submit a Letter of Interest.

The review panelists will individually rate each Letter of Interest to determine which projects will be invited to submit a proposal for Treasure Tampa.

  • 1. Get Started

The Review Panel uses two documents to evaluate LOIs – the Evaluation Rating Form and the Scoring Alignment Table. These are a good resource to refer to before submitting in order to better understand how the application will be evaluated.

    2. Prepare Your LOI

Download the LOI Worksheet and fill out the information prior to entering the data online.

    3. Submit Your LOI

When you’re ready to submit your LOI, login or create an account, enter the information from your LOI worksheet into the online form, and send the form.
The Gobioff Foundation uses Foundant – an online grant portal – to handle LOIs and proposals. Check out our Application FAQ for more info about submitting LOI’s and proposals.

    Phase 2 – Proposals

The Review Panelists will individually rate each Letter of Interest submitted and determine which projects will be invited to submit a proposal for Treasure Tampa.

Potential project applicants will then complete the Treasure Tampa proposal submission.

Review Panelists will individually rate each proposal submitted, identify projects to fund and recommend funding amounts for each project.

    What's Next?

Treasure Tampa will notify selected Applicants, who will then execute their Treasure Tampa projects!

Once the project(s) is/are complete, Treasure Tampa project members will provide feedback to Treasure Tampa on the experience.
